Terms of Service
Last updated 22 March 2026
These terms govern your use of Trawly ("the service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Trawly is currently in beta. The service is provided as-is, features may change, and we're grateful for your patience while we build it.
What Trawly is
Trawly is a personalized AI-generated morning digest. It crawls public content from platforms including X (Twitter), Reddit, Hacker News, and the web, then uses AI to select and summarise stories relevant to your interests. It delivers this digest by email and/or SMS at a time you choose.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
- One account per person — don't create accounts on behalf of others without their consent
- You agree to provide accurate information during signup and keep it up to date
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Trawly to harvest or scrape content at scale
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Abuse the reply or feedback system to send spam
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI prompts or crawling logic
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Content and AI
Trawly's digests are AI-generated summaries of publicly available content. They are not financial advice, medical advice, or journalism. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Always verify anything important from the original source.
We do not claim ownership of the original content Trawly summarises. Summaries are transformative and brief, linking back to original sources where possible.
Billing and cancellation
Trawly is currently free during beta. When paid plans are introduced, we'll notify you in advance with clear pricing. You can cancel your account at any time with no penalty. Unused prepaid subscription time is refundable on request.
Service availability
We aim to deliver your digest every morning, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. API outages, crawler failures, or infrastructure issues may occasionally cause missed digests. We'll notify you if a digest couldn't be delivered.
Limitation of liability
Trawly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you've paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, unless we agree otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
